Client: I Love Juice Bar

During my time at Fresh Branding, I was tasked with planning and executing I Love Juice Bar’s social media and marketing calendar. Here are a few examples of the work I did for this fun and lively company!

We had several tiers of content running at all times. Each quarter, we promoted an overarching theme. For the first quarter, we promoted smoothie ad ons.

There were several promotions that encouraged follower participation. We ran a contest where customers could enter to win a summer of free smoothies.

Every month we promoted a different key juice or smoothie ingredient by creating social media and blog posts.

Client: City of Tulsa

This recycling campaign is currently still running throughout downtown Tulsa on billboards and bus stands, as well as google web ads and newspaper spreads. I was one of the lead designers on this campaign, coming up with the main premise of "Focus on the Four," a slogan meant to encourage Tulsa locals to recycle correctly.

In House: Logan's Roadhouse

During my time at Logan's, I was asked to refresh the Kid's Menu. The previous menu had very few activities, and did not play into the brand story. Since Logan's is based out of Music City and partners with ASCAP, I decided to frame the story around a band of kids called the Rockin' Roadhousers. Children could draw themselves into the story, and then open their menu to complete activities of various difficulties. As a bonus, the menu is black and white with one spot color, which cut printing cost.

Freelance: Corporate

This project was a quarterly sales report for a nationally ranked brokerage firm. I interned for this company while I was in college, and still do freelance work for them from time to time. The client wanted to take a vast amount of research and data and convey it in a way that was quickly and easily digestible, as well as visually pleasing and in line with existing brand standards. Though originally ordered as a digital PDF, I also included files formatted for print, and a mockup, in case the client decided to go forward with a hard copy.

Freelance: Presentation Design

The purpose of this presentation was to raise funds and recruit sponsors for a now flourishing co-working space in downtown Tulsa, OK. This project is one of many resources I helped create for this company, taking a logo designed by a local artist and fleshing it out into a brand identity.

For this project, a corporate client wanted an easily digested visually representation of their national sales that fit within their branding guidelines. The piece was created for a single team within a sales-oriented company, and upon delivery was quickly adopted by the majority of the the remaining sales teams.

Student Work: Experimental

“In spite of the great wealth of our languages, a thoughtful mind is often at a loss for an expression that should square exactly with its concept.”

In this self-defined poster project inspired by the above quote by the German philosopher Immanuel Kant, I wanted to showcase words in other languages that had very specific meanings. Because the five senses are things that human beings of every culture share, I decided to focus on sensory words.

In House: Promotional Materials

During my time at Logan's, I helped create and execute many micro-campaigns designed to drive traffic and boost sales. One of these campaigns was the Man of the Roadhouse Father's Day promotion. Along with a special Father's Day menu, myself and the marketing team created a contest encouraging consumers to send in pictures of their dads with a short messaging detailing why he was the best father, for a chance to win free steak for a year. It was one of our most successful campaigns as far as interaction and traffic, and lead the way to several more contest-based promotions.

Client: QuikPrint Tulsa

For this project, I was told to concept several different campaigns for QuikPrint Tulsa, a local print company that prides themselves in speed and versatility. Though the client ended up deciding to extend their current campaign for a while longer, they were pleased with all the options presented.

Freelance: Branding

I was asked to create a logo and poster/ad for Tulsa's first annual Wine & Jazz Festival. The logo and poster were reused with updated dates the following summer.

This poster was created to promote an art show featuring local Tulsa Artists.

Life on Mars: an Evening of Aries

Client: Freelance

A poster designed for a Mars themed show, featuring all Aries artists.

Student Work: Branding

Da Yum! Good Food is a restaurant I created for a branding class in undergrad. The company's fun, bright, organic visuals are designed to market to young, health conscious consumers. Da Yum's micro-campaign, Know Your Farmer, focus's on promoting the company's "keep it local" values, as well as showcasing the growers that contribute their produce, and encouraging consumers to support them by visiting the farmer's market.

Illustrations

I've always found words to be beautiful, and for this personal project I chose to showcase that beauty visually. Using hand drawings and digital illustration, I created this series of some of my favorite quotes (with a few colored pencil drawing featuring self-quotations thrown in.)
